Waypoint Public

Saint Patricks Day (the day everyone wants to be Irish) Is right around the corner!

If it’s a good beer and some tasty potatoes you want for Saint Patty’s day might I suggest you make your way to Waypoint Public. Its a new restaurant in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego. On a day date with my man, this place did not disappoint.  Maybe it was the fake but real looking foliage growing on the wall or the amazing antler chandelier, but when we walked through the door we instantly felt young and hip and slightly European too. This restaurant has the feel of a cozy gastropub with the friendliest of staff. Our conversation flowed over a good lunch time beer and when the food came no words where needed exempt our ohs and ums of our tastebuds dancing. Okay I might be getting a little too poetic here but really it is such a worthy place to eat. There’s a bonus if you’re a parent they have a really rad play area equipped with astroturf and books and beanbags for the kiddos and kid brunch menu as well. I haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. Here are some snapshots from my trip to Waypoint Public and some visual reason why you should eat here.
